Russia, Paul I, polupoltinnik (quarter rouble), 1798MБ, St. Petersburg, monogram in cruciform surmounted by crowns, rev. inscription within ornamented square (Cr.98.1a; Sev.2416), in plastic holder, graded by NGC as Mint State 62 Superbly struck and very lustrous under a light grey patina. A truly superb coin and very, very conservatively graded. One of the finest of the type we have seen.
