This typical San Sebastian type hollow female is 7-1/2" high and is posed seated, with hands on hips. Her coif is deeply incised and the serrated ears indicate the characteristic multiple ear ornaments. The dark red slip is highly burnished and shows extensive mineral deposits. Ex Eiserman estate.
