HADRIAN (117-138). Denarius. Rome.

Obv: IMP CAESAR TRAIAN HADRIANVS AVG.
Laureate bust right, with slight drapery.
Rev: P M TR P VI COS II / CONCORD.
Concordia seated left on throne, holding patera; cornucopia below.

RIC 17.

Though there appears to be a fine line resembling drapery on Hadrian's shoulder closer to the viewer, it is the opinion of this cataloger that a fully draped bust was not intended by the engraver, as it is completely undeveloped.

Condition: Very fine.

Weight: 3.13 g.
Diameter: 19 mm.
