AEOLIS, Temnos. Circa 188-170 BC. AR Tetradrachm (32mm, 15.92 g, 1h). In the name and types of Alexander III of Macedon. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; in left field, two monograms above knee, oenochoe beneath vine tendril at feet. Price 1686. Near VF, toned, some porosity, a few deposits, light marks.
