LESBOS, Mytilene. Circa 521-478 BC. EL Hekte – Sixth Stater (10mm, 2.52 g, 12h). Ram's head left; below, cock standing right, pecking at the ground / Incuse head of lion right; rectangular punch to left. Bodenstedt Em. 21; HGC 6, 947. Good VF, light die rust. Exceptionally well centered on the obverse for the issue, with the entire cock pecking at the ground visible.
