KINGS of THRACE, Macedonian. Lysimachos. 305-281 BC. AR Drachm (18mm, 4.20 g, 11h). Lampsakos mint. Struck 297/6-282/1 BC. Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / Athena Nikephoros seated left, arm resting on shield, spear in background; monogram to inner left. Cf. Thompson 57 (tetradrachm); Müller –; SNG France –; CNG E-170, lot 32 (same dies). VF, lightly toned, a few light marks, die shift and minor scuff on reverse. Extremely rare as a drachm.
