ARABIA, Southern. Himyar. 'Amdān Bayān Yahaqbiḍ. Circa AD 100-120. AR Fraction (8mm, 0.40 g, 10h). Monogram within circle / Curved symbol above WTR (in South Arabian). For general type, but with different monogram, cf. CAF 3.17iii; Huth 410. For this monogram, cf. Huth 436–46. VF, find patina. Extremely rare.

Ex Peus 405 (2 November 2011), lot 2319.

This type was previously known for issues of Karib'īl Watār Yuhan'im. The monogram on this coin, though, suggests that this is a new issue of his successor, 'Amdān Bayān Yahaqbiḍ.
