Bare male head right / Bearded head right; [South Arabian inscription above], royal Qatabanian monogram to left, 'oblong symbol' (of 'Anbi) to right, monogram (of South Arabian letters MQ?) below. Cf. CAF 1.8bii (for type); Huth 364 var. (monogram); cf. HGC 10, 714. Near VF, lightly toned, typical compact flan. Unpublished with this monogram below head.
This monogram is known on an earlier Qatabanian imitation of Athens (CNG 99, lot 378), as well as an issue from Saba (Huth 200).
