KINGS of THRACE, Macedonian. Lysimachos. 305-281 BC. AR Drachm (18mm, 4.27 g, 12h). In the types of Alexander III of Macedon. Abydos mint. Struck circa 299/8-297/6 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; in left field, lion forepart left above M; below throne, head of griffin left. Thompson 68; Price L20; Müller –. VF, struck with worn obverse die, a few tiny flan flaws on reverse. Very rare.

There are two coins in CoinArchives attributed to Thompson 68, but they are actually an unpublished variety with a M-like monogram in left field.
