JUDAEA, Sebaste(?). Severus Alexander, with Julia Mamaea. AD 222-235. Æ (26mm, 15.26 g, 6h). IMP CE SEV ALEXAND SIC, laureate bust of Severus Alexander right, with slight drapery / IOVΛIA M-AMAIA SЄB, draped bust of Julia Mamaea right, wearing stephane. Apparently unpublished. Good VF, brown patina with some green, minor porosity. Extremely rare and interesting, featuring a mixture of blundered Latin and Greek legends, and lacking an ethnic.
