MACEDON, Terone(?). Circa 400-348 BC. AR Tetartemorion (9mm, 0.36 g, 9h). Oinoechoe / Forepart of goat right. Cf. Hardwick 20, otherwise unpublished in the standard references. Fine, lightly toned, porous.
This coin differs from Hardwick 20 in four respects: the oinoechoe is quite wide and fluted, there is no ethnic, and the reverse type is not in an incuse. One wonders if this may be an imitative issue.
