Anonymous, 143 BC. Denarius (Silver, 18mm, 3.97 g 9), Rome. Helmeted head of Roma to right; behind, X. Rev. Diana in biga of stags to right, holding reins in her left hand and torch in her right; below, crescent; in exergue, ROMA. Crawford 222/1. Sydenham 438. A bright and attracitve piece with some original mint luster. Minor metal flaws on the obverse, otherwise, about extremely fine.
