Southern Rhodesia: 5 Pounds ND (1939-52) Specimen P. 11s. This note is the highest denomination of the early Southern Rhodesia banknote series. With portrait of King George VI at right it shows great colors and classic british colony banknote design. This note is a rare Specimen type of the common note with printers annotation on top: "Approved 16th June 1952, For and on behalf of the Southern Rhodesia Currency Board, the Standard Bank of South Africa Limited". This rare item was never folded but has 4 pinholes and a crease at left side. Otherwise great original condition: XF+.
