CYPRUS, Idalion. Uncertain king. Circa 490-475 BC. AR Stater (21.5mm, 10.81 g). Sphinx seated right, raising forepaw; palmettes below; Cypriot Sa Ba to left, lo(?) above, [na and O(?) to right] / Rough incuse square. Larnaca 4–6 (same obv. die); Zapiti & Michaelidou –; SNG Copenhagen –; BMC 4 (same obv. die). VF, toned, struck from worn dies. Very rare.
