Andronicus II Palaeologus, with Michael IX. 1282-1328. AV Hyperpyron (21.5mm, 3.10 g, 6h). Constantinople mint. Struck 1303-1320. Half-length figure of the Virgin Mary, orans, within city walls with four towers; sigla: */K to left, */N to right / Christ standing facing, crowning Andronicus and Michael kneeling to left and right, respectively. DOC 262-365; PCPC 128, sigla 186; SB 2396. VF, toned, a few scratches/graffiti in margin on obverse, a few hairline flan cracks.
