Artist Sketchbook By R.P. Laubenheimer From Germany, ca.1851 or Earlier Sketchbook. 7-1/8x8-3/4, Light card cover over 15 page (1 page or more have been previously torn out, as the hand numbered page numbers differ from reality). The remaining pages have full page studies in pencil and charcoal of trees. Very nicely done. Not signed or dated, but book is from a Nuremburg printer. Probably done by Rudolf Laubenheimer as a youth in Germany prior to 1851.
