Roman Terracotta Oil Lamp with Female Headed Lion, circa 1st Century AD: A very interesting and rare lamp in the form of a female with a lionesses body. The piece is intact but a bit worn with age, measures 78 x 84 mm and a truly unusual lamp. This piece is part of the estate of David Liebert of The Time Machine Company, a knowledgeable and respected member of the Antiquities Dealer community. He was also the author of many articles on artifacts including the many articles in The Celator magazine.
