Seleukid Kingdom. Seleukos IV Philopator. 187-175 B.C. Æ (19 mm, 7.61 g, 1 h). Antioch on the Orontes mint. Wreathed and draped bust of Dionysos right, thyrsos over shoulder; monogram behind / [Β]ΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΣΕΛΕΥΚΟΥ, prow of galley left; AΓ above. Cf. SC 1316.2c; HGC 9, 586. Fine, brown patina.

The Greek letters ΑΓ above the prow on the reverse normally come in monogram form of which there are two published varieties, SC 1316.2c and 1316.2d. This variety is not recorded in SC and is likely unpublished.
