KINGS of MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great'. 336-323 BC. AR Tetradrachm (25.5mm, 17.17 g, 6h). Tarsos mint. Struck under Menes or Philotas, circa 327-323 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; plow in left field; below throne, two pellets above strut, grape bunch below. Price 3027; Newell, Tarsos 36 (dies XXXIV/177). Good VF, lightly toned, a little die wear on obverse. Well centered.
