Syria, Central Bank, specimen 25 Syrian pounds, 1966, brown/lilac and multi-coloured, with loom worker in green, zero serial numbers, overprinted specimen in red on both sides and with two punch-cancellations, also numbered '201' in reverse margin (Pick 96a; Djaroueh SY146), removed from a specimen book and a little discoloured by adhesive which was used at the upper margin, very fine; and specimen 25 Syrian pounds, 1978 issue, blue and multi-coloured, zero serial numbers, overprinted in red on both sides and with two punch-cancellations, numbered '634' in reverse margin (Pick 102; Djaroueh SY173), extremely fine (2)
