Andronicus II Palaeologus, with Michael IX. 1282-1328. AV Hyperpyron (24mm, 3.74 g, 5h). Constantinople mint. Struck 1294-1303. Half-length figure of the Virgin Mary, orans, within city walls with four towers; uncertain sigla / Christ standing facing, crowning Andronicus and Michael kneeling to left and right, respectively. PCPC type 127; SB 2396. Good VF, some light graffiti.
