"A - I" at either side of a Land turtle (Testudo Graeca) in high relief with thirteen plates, a clear border around the shell, the two front limbs visible, the head is clear though the tail and back legs are not present given their proximity to the edge of the flan; Reverse: "A - IΓI" Incuse skew pattern of three broad lines forming five compartments, dolphin at right facing upwards. Minor deposits surround the designs and are present in the recesses of the reverse. Nice round flan with pleasing fields. RARE. BOLD VERY FINE.
