GREAT BRITAIN. Sovereign, 1820. NGC AU-58.
S-3785C; Fr-371; KM-674. Last year of issue. This piece is about as nice as they come without being full mint state. Much original luster in the legends, a clean portrait, and nearly all of the hair detail present. Full head on the reverse horse rider, and much like the obverse, just enough evidence of handling to knock it from mint state status. A nice companion piece to the previous lot, and perhaps even a bit nicer. NGC AU-58.
