Fr-810; Nomisma-3, MIR-22 as R2 (VERY RARE). Medieval gold issue struck just prior to the disastrous early 14th century that saw much of Europe ravaged by famine and pestilence. Obverse depicts the Annunciation, the reverse shield depicts the arms of France and Jerusalem. A remarkably well preserved specimen, exhibiting glowing luster throughout and complete details, albeit with a touch of wear to the high points. PCGS AU-53 Secure Holder.
