PERU. 8 Escudos, 1751-J. Ferdinand VI (1746-59). NGC AU-55.
Fr-16; KM-50; Cal-Type-6#18. First year for the milled edge Peruvian gold 8 Escudos, and historical as such. Three year only issue with an ornate portrait, that when struck, must have seemed light years ahead of the earlier cob coinage. Fully original with just a trace of actual wear, nice color, and muted luster. NGC AU-55.
