POLAND. Danzig. 25 Gulden, 1930. NGC MS-66.
Fr-44; KM-150; Parchimowicz-71. Superb gem in every way. A coin that until recently was unavailable to the collecting community. A few were distributed on September 1, 1939 as Hitler invaded Poland, and not until early in the 21st century have any additional coins surfaced. Always an admired design with Neptune on the reverse, the coin is one of only two choices (the other dated 1923) for world gold type collectors if they want to add Danzig to the collection. The small hoard this coin originated from is becoming increasingly dispersed after a number of years on the market. NGC MS-66.
Estimate: $2200.00- $2700.00
