RUSSIA. 10 Ruble, 1894-AT. PCGS AU-58 Secure Holder.
Fr-167; Y-A42; Bit-23. Reported mintage of 1,007 pieces and the lowest mintage of the nine year series, but for some inexplicable reason the most frequently encountered date. Nearly all of these (in every date) were melted after a currency reform was instituted a few years after this coin was struck. A delightful example with plenty of remaining luster in the obverse legends and reverse fields. No question a terrific opportunity to add this type coin at a time when prices for Russian rarities have taken a momentary dip. PCGS AU-58 Secure Holder.
