KM-Y270. Palladium. Struck as the Soviet Union began its irreversible collapse the following year. Krause lists a similar coin as being struck in 1991, with a mintage of 30,000 pieces. Another very similar design was reused by the Russian Republic a few years later but with a different reverse. NGC MS-68.
