Illyria, Kings of Illyria. Monounios. ca. 300-275 B.C. AR stater (22.6 mm, 10.57 g, 12 h). Dyrrhachion mint. Cow standing right, looking back at suckling calf standing right below, boar's jaw right above / ΔY above, P below; BACIΛEΩC to left, MONOYNIOY to right, double stellate pattern divided by line within linear square border; all within linear circle border. Maier 88; SNG Copenhagen 528; BMC 2. VF, minor reverse deposits. Very rare.

Monounios was the first Illyrian king to issue coins in his name.
