HUNNIC TRIBES, Uncertain. "Jayatu". Mid to late 6th century AD. BI Drachm (23mm, 5.53 g, 0h). Imitating types of Narendra/Narana (Alchon Huns). Crowned bust right; crown decorated with lunar crescents; jayatu (victorious) in Brahmi to right / Blank. Vondrovec Type 321; cf. Alram, Alchon 52–60 (for obv. prototype); cf. Göbl, Dokumente, Em. 150 and 171 (same). VF, toned, some roughness.
