L. Aemilius Lepidus Paullus. 62 BC. AR Denarius (19.5mm, 3.85 g, 5h). Rome mint. Veiled and diademed head of Concordia right / Trophy; to left, three captives (King Perseus of Macedon and his two sons) standing right; to right, Paullus standing left. Crawford 415/1 note; Sydenham 926b; Aemilia 10a. VF, iridescent toning, a few contact marks and scratches under tone, traces of die rust on obverse, some deposits on reverse. The rarer variety with PAVLLS instead of PAVLLVS on obverse.
