Manuel I Comnenus. 1143-1180. EL Aspron Trachy Nomisma (31mm, 2.08 g, 6h). Constantinople mint. Struck 1152-circa 1167. Christ Pantokrator seated facing on throne; barred IC XC across upper field / Manuel and the Theotokos standing facing, holding patriarchal cross on small globe between them. DOC 3a; SB 1958; CLBC 4.2.2. Good VF, hairline flan crack through middle of flan, light spot of green encrustation on the reverse.
