Victoria Specimen 10 Cents 1880-H SP66 PCGS, Heaton mint, KM3. A most-impressive survivor of this extremely elusive specimen date, with remnant evidence of the heavy die polishing in the fields that gives both sides the excellent reflectivity that most collectors seek is a "special" striking. Furthering the appeal, the design is fully impressed throughout, with the formation of a partial wire-rim on the obverse. An absence of handling confirms the premium Gem grade, with only a touch of golden-hued coloration at the edges. One of only 8 examples thus far seen by PCGS and amazingly, after our many sales of accomplished Canadian collections such as Belzberg, Canadiana and Prager to name a few, this is the first of its kind we have offered. An outstanding opportunity thus. From The Eric Beckman Collection of Canadian Coins
