George V Specimen 10 Cents 1929 SP66 PCGS, Ottawa mint, KM23a. A scarce issue by all accounts, with mostly brilliant surfaces that exhibit razor-sharp detail throughout George V's portrait, as well as into the crown and the leaves' veins on the reverse. Very likely lacquered at the mint, the surfaces show the telltale iridescence when rotated beneath a light, and several hairs, mostly notable in front of George's nose, appear to have been trapped in the process. No marks from handling on either side however make this a coin with few equals. From The Eric Beckman Collection of Canadian Coins
