Victoria Specimen 20 Cents 1858 SP64 PCGS, Royal mint, KM4. Plain edge. Immediately identifiable as a presentation strike, with detail that is abnormally crisp for the issue and fields that project an impressive glossy texture as a result of careful die preparation. Lightly toned, both sides are mostly tan in appearance, with the faintest infusion of rose coloration toward the outer edges. A touch of scattered handling defines the grade, but most of it remains hidden to the unaided eye. Only the third specimen of the date that we have ever offered. From The Eric Beckman Collection of Canadian Coins
