Victoria Specimen 25 Cents 1872-H SP65+ PCGS, Heaton mint, KM5. An exceptional Gem of this acknowledged rarity, struck in magnificent relief with full mirrored reflectivity in the fields, and delicately toned in visually appealing mauve shades that meander over both the obverse and reverse. While blemishes, as the grade suggests, are few and far between, a strike-through towards Victoria's neck truncation is worthy of mention for future pedigree identification purposes. Impressively, this is the first offering of this specimen date in recent memory (perhaps since the Norweb holdings were sold in 1996), and it also marks the first time we have had the pleasure to sell it.From The Eric Beckman Collection of Canadian Coins
