George V Specimen 25 Cents 1929 SP67 PCGS, Ottawa mint, KM24a. One of the finest extant examples of this highly-demanded specimen date, the surfaces retain satin-smooth texture that is typical of late 1920s specimens, with design features that rise boldly from the flat fields and surfaces quality that is on the cusp of perfection. A touch of russet edge tone, certainly the mark of long-time collector storage, haloes the outer edges, attractively framing nearly-white centers. One of only 8 examples graded by PCGS.From The Eric Beckman Collection of Canadian Coins
