George VI Specimen 50 Cents Maple Leaf Curved 7 1947 SP66 PCGS, Royal Canadian mint, KM36. A splendid example of this rare and popular type. The surfaces are near mark free, with bold definition and a touch of golden patina. Only two pieces have been certified finer by PCGS. Virtually uncollectible in Choice to Gem Mint State examples, the only chance that one might have to include a really nice Maple Leaf Curved 7 in a quality collection is to acquire one of the few Gem Specimen pieces, and these can be quite elusive.From The Eric Beckman Collection of Canadian Coins
