George VI Specimen 50 Cents 1950 No Design in "0" SP64 PCGS, Royal Canadian mint, KM45. Reddish-gold patina, with sharply defined device and surfaces displaying a few tiny contact marks that define the grade. PCGS has this listed as a Specimen (along with one other piece), but the Charlton catalog does not list a Specimen as being struck for this type. In the Belzberg sale, we noted that ICCS had graded this piece as a Mint State coin. We give this information to make the bidder aware of a possible conundrum involving this coin. Ex.
