Edward VII Specimen gold Sovereign 1908-C SP67 PCGS, Ottawa mint, KM14. The first Canadian Sovereign issue, struck only in Specimen, in the tiny mintage of 636 pieces. It is thought that this issue was struck in limited Specimen edition as a ceremonial issue for the opening of the new Ottawa Mint. This amazing example has fully satin luster, and surfaces, on both sides, with Superb, mark-free surfaces and boldly struck devices with gleaming orange-golden patina.
