George V Specimen Set 1931 PCGS Certified, Set with MS Cent Royal Canadian mint. A unique set that comes with Royal mint stamped card holder dated Dec.1 1931, in an envelope written by Mr. Campbell reading, "Selected from the first one hundred pieces struck after Mrs. Rhodes started the coining presses on the 1st December 1931." It is signed J.H. Campbell Master Royal Canadian Mint. This is a truly amazing set as follows: Cent KM28, MS64 Red and Brown; 5 Cents KM29, SP66+, brilliant steel-gray color; 10 Cents KM23a, SP67, fully brilliant with a hint of golden patina; 25 Cents KM24a, SP66, mottled gray and gold toning; and 50 Cents KM25a, fully brilliant with slight golden toning. The 10 Cents and 50 Cents are highest certified and none of the issues have over 6 examples certified by PCGS. A piece of Canadian numismatic history with far more importance here than just the five coins. From The Eric Beckman Collection of Canadian Coins
