Hamburg. Free City gold Proof 10 Mark 1913-J PR67 Ultra Cameo NGC, Stuttgart mint, KM608, Jaeger-211. A very choice proof example of this popular Free City coinage, with starkly contrasting frosted design elements that sit atop deep, watery reflectivity in the fields. Essentially flawlessly preserved, no marks or handling is observed over either side, and the minting quality is also superb, with no flecks in the frosting or lintmarks over the surfaces. For comparison purposes, we sold a 1911-dated example of the same type (graded PR66 DCAM by PCGS) in our April 2014 auction for $7,343.75.From The Kaiser Collection of German Gold Coins
