Prussia. Wilhelm II gold 20 Mark 1901-A MS66 NGC, Berlin mint, KM521, Jaeger-252. Considered a common date, but rarely available in elevated Gem grades such as the present piece, as most survivors have acquired numerous tiny marks over the surfaces after decades of indifferent storage. This coin, however, has miraculously escaped those perils, with unmarked surfaces and glinting luster being a testament of its lovely condition. Not surprisingly, of the 47 examples graded by NGC and PCGS combined, this is the sole MS66 graded. From The Kaiser Collection of German Gold Coins
