Saxony. Albert gold 10 Mark 1875-E MS65 PCGS, Dresden mint, KM1235, Jaeger-261. A rich orange-gold Gem of the issue, ideally struck with fully rendered design elements, and minimally marked on either side, with no imperfections serving to distract the viewer's eye. While few examples of the date have been certified at any grade (this being the finest at PCGS or NGC), it's safe to consider examples as fine as the present to be rare with semi-comparable offerings being extremely elusive. While archived auctions records are indeed few, we do note a seemingly comparable example, graded "fast Stempelglanz" by German auction house Künker, selling in June of 2012 for 950 Euros. From The Kaiser Collection of German Gold Coins
