Saxony. Friedrich August III gold Proof 10 Mark 1912-E PR64 Cameo NGC, Muldenhutten mint, KM1264, Jaeger-267. Attractively toned in sweeping apricot-gold hues with surfaces that, with the exception of small area just to the right of Friedrich August's bust truncation that appears to have a minor grease smudge, are essentially undisturbed and very choice, showing only the most trivial evidence of handling in the fields and no breaks of the imposing mint frost on the design. A rare coin in any grade, but even more so when found as lovely as the present. From The Kaiser Collection of German Gold Coins
