An exceptional premium Gem with contrasting appeal, the obverse fully prooflike in the fields with nicely frosted highpoints, while the reverse displays dazzling satiny surfaces throughout. Light tone adds to both. The date, while not uncommon in nice grade, is certainly rare this fine, with the present piece being tied with one other example for the finest certified by NGC.
