Ferdinand VI gold 4 Escudos 1753 Mo-MF VF Details (Mount Removed) NGC, Mexico city mint, KM138, Cal-110. Evidence of mount removal at 12 o'clock and polished surfaces, typical of a piece once used in jewelry, are noted. An affordable and well-pedigreed example of this rare type - missing altogether from Norweb and only represented by a mounted coin in Eliasberg - that shows no indication of denomination on the reverse. No examples of this date have been certified in non-detailed holders by either major third party grading company. Ex.
