Ferdinand VI gold 8 Escudos 1755/7 Mo-MM AU50 NGC, Mexico City mint, KM151 (unlisted overdate), cf. Onza-606 (unlisted overdate). Partially lustrous with limited highpoint wear that defines the grade and attractive surfaces that are free of distracting handling. This clear and curious overdate seems apparently unpublished, although the cataloguer notes another example sold in Europe 10 years ago (UBS 9/2005, lot 4612, though not identified as the overdate).
