Ferdinand VII gold 8 Escudos 1823 PTS-PJ MS61 NGC, Potosi mint, KM91, Onza-1307. A lustrous coin, with the few expected handling marks at this designation level. A very scarce three-year type, conditionally rare and eminently desirable in this quality. Clearly superior to the AU58 specimen recently sold by us (Heritage 4/2015, lot 61038 for $2,585) and currently tied with another specimen as the finest certified for the date by NGC.
