An outstanding specimen showing rich, harvest-gold color that glows with much original mint bloom and evidence of light handling marked by the occasional die crack. The intricately detailed portrait of the Portuguese Sun King is impeccable, with each curl boldly defined. And, while the center of the reverse motif is somewhat softly-struck, the overall eye appeal of this selection remains intact.
